Workplace Conflict Mediation
What is workplace mediation?
Mediation is an informal, voluntary and confidential process of dispute resolution where an impartial third party facilitates the parties in dispute to find a resolution on which they both agree.
Why should organisations consider workplace mediation?
It offers a safe, structured, effective and confidential process for participants to find their own solutions to a conflict. The mediator achieves this by providing the parties with an opportunity to express their feelings and concerns to the other party in a safe and non-threatening way and help them to explore the potential options towards agreeing a solution which meets both parties’ needs.
The mediation process:
- Initial discussion to assess whether mediation is appropriate
- Individual meetings with the 2 people in conflict
- Joint meeting between the parties and the mediator
- Agreement- the parties agree the format for this
- Follow up
Costs
Bespoke quotations will be provided and the total price will depend on the number of days of mediation work.

Team building
Team building programmes are bespoke in response to the client’s needs. Often psychometric profiling is included as it helps to raise awareness of different personality styles in the team to increase effective communication between team members.
Helping teams to create a team vision and strategic roadmap supports the team with clarity of roles and responsibilities. This can support more collaborative working, bringing together diverse talents to come together dynamically within the team; and increase motivation to work together on aligned shared goals.
You can expect group adult learning in a safe environment, facilitated in an engaging, interactive and fun way. Each workshop is bespoke and uniquely designed to achieve learning needs, and often includes group activities, case studies, discussion, and skills practice.
Costs: Each workshop is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the client, including the length of the workshop. Bespoke quotations will be provided in accordance with client needs.
Psychometrics
The two psychometric tools that we use are Insights Discovery and Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Each learner will receive a profile unique to them based on the answers they provide in an online Evaluator that they complete. The profiles include individual strengths and development areas; and are designed to increase self-awareness and awareness of others’ personality styles. This awareness can help with effective connection between people and more dynamic transactions and outcomes.
The tools are introduced to the learners either in a 121 meeting or in a group workshop. The content of the profiles is treated confidentially and the learners choose who they share their profiles with. Often further learning facilitation will be included for deeper learning transfer, either in groups or as 121 coaching sessions.
Costs are bespoke to client needs.
Team coaching
Team coaching help teams to connect with each other effectively to:
- Shape shared goals and inspire shared accountability
- Develop strategy
- Deal with ambiguity in a supportive way
- Celebrate diverse strengths and collaborate for effective dynamics
- Support each other to enable mental resilience
Once the needs are established, a series of interventions could form part of the learning solution including:
- Team satisfaction survey and needs analysis
- Team psychometrics (with Insights Discovery)
- 121 coaching sessions in preparation for group sessions
- A series of team coaching sessions to build the team’s required future and explore the best ways to achieve this together
Costs: Bespoke quotations will be provided for each programme and prices will depend on the number of days worked.
Conflict coaching
The focus of conflict coaching is to work through a specific conflict or learn conflict resolution skills to be more effective in handling conflict generally.
Depending on the unique situation and client needs, often conflict coaching will consist of a series of 121 and sometimes small group coaching if conflict needs to be resolved between two people or a team of people. The coach will bring leadership tools and techniques to help learners understand 1) the root cause of the conflict; 2) become more self-aware; 3) understand conflict and feel less uncomfortable with it; and 4) learn skills to overcome (internal or external) conflict.
Costs: Bespoke quotations will be provided for each programme and prices will depend on the number of days worked.
